A posting came open for a new job within the company for Chris. It is what he really wants to do ( travel and help out at other coking units around the country and possibly world) , but it is based here: http://www.poncacityok.com/
he haasn't even decided whether or not to apply for it. he said if he did that he would find out if he could stay here and do the same job. It entails travel about 60% of the time, so while he would be travelling, Joseph and I would be in Ponca City. I can't even begin to get enthused about it. He says he wouldn't take the job if it means moving there, but.......

OKLAHOMA?! Oh dear.
My thoughts exactly:/
Sorry, Shelly. Maybe Chris will not get the job...
I don't know, Shelly.
I am finally at the point where I can take the hot weather and humidity here, because it allows one to enjoy many activities pretty much year-round.
Although I love the beauty of autumn in the northern states, I just don't think I could do the extreme cold, anymore. We had considered moving to NC, which isn't a tundra, by any means, but still . . .
I don't know what to say. We haven't gone to OK, yet. You'll have to wait until I go and then you can get an assessment from me. ;-)
My brother and SIL live in Oklahoma, and they love it. I guess it depends on (1) where you live, and (2) how well you "settle."
For the record, I'm not a good settler, so I don't know how I'd do in OK, either.
